We've tossed this idea around in the past as well. Although there's a definite use for travellers to have something like this, I think there's also already some very good options out there for document storage (Dropbox for example). There's some security issues involved in accepting uploads of all these different file formats that we're a little uncomfortable with.
That said, maybe an integration with another service that stores the documents while we just link them up and show the files inside an itinerary would be of use.
and allow you to upload/create/edit files such as documents, images (photos or scanned documents) and spreadsheets. You can use these services as an online back up for your important things in case of emergency.
