Good hostel for one night in Bangkok?

Hi there!

I'd recommend heading to Soi Rambuttri as there are plenty of good, sociable options on and around that street. I've stayed in Bella Bella and My House and both were fine. I don't think either had a bar but both had common areas where you could meet other travellers. Khao San Road a few blocks away has more accommodation and drinking options but is a little more raucous, so it depends what you're looking for.

Hostels and smaller, cheap hotels and guest houses are not much different in price. What price range are you looking for? Once you leave Bangkok you will not find too many hostels. Lots of cheap guest houses though.

Suk 11 Hostel. Bars nearby. Walk to Skytrain stop, malls, restaurants, supermarkets, etc.

Lub D Hostels, 2 places. Not far from Skytrain.

Rail Link from airport available to midnight. Connects with Skytrain at Phayathai. (Skytrain also connects with subway, subway takes you to Hua Lamphong train station.)
