Thinking of travelling to australia on my own around september/oct 2013. Done abit of travelling before and spent 6 months in tenerife but this is a different kettle of fish, so was just wondering if anybody had any advice as i have a few questions .
Where's the best place to start off, sydney ?
How easy or hard is it to find work ?
Should i book a hostel before i leave uk ?
How much money do I need ? would be looking to start working pretty much straight away.
Is it easy to meet other travellers and travel around australia with them ?

I fly into Brisbane septemeber 30th. I havn't made any real plans other than maybe heading down to Byron bay and going up the east coast until i need to start work!
So, if you decided your heading to similar places - be good to meet someone to hook up with once out there
