Hi me and a few friends are heading to NYC for NYE there are 3 of us all guys and around 30 years old. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any good clubs to go for NYE?
First thing to know. You can't just show up at a club on NYE and expect to get admitted. Almost everyplace in New York will sell out (most months in advance) for NYE. Also, this will be the most expensive night to go out.
Check out popular sites like clubzone, balldrop or clubplanet to find out about NYE parties--which ones are for couples, which for singles, which are dinners and shows, which are music (and what type--rock, slow, rap, etc.) and live dancing, which are event-type scenarios.
Be aware also that many couples (not too many singles) opt for cruises on this evening or leading up to this evening.
If you want to party on the cheap, plan to go to some of these places either during the week before or the week after NYE. The crowds won't be so upbeat, less upscale entertainment will be available, but costs will be much less and ease of admission much better.
