Hi Jack, Jacob and Raghav,
I'm flying out to Sydney on June 9th. I'm out there for 8 weeks travelling up and down the coast! You guys wanna meet up at any point? I'm coming out to sydney alone like the rest of you guys and would be nice to meet a few others!
Thanks
Jay
I'm travelling to Sydney on 2nd June, and really looking forward to it, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about travelling alone. Haven't got any work lined up yet, probably start looking when I'm down there. As far as accommodation goes hostel world is a good place to look. Again I havent got that sorted yet either but saw a couple places on there that looked good, like jackaroo hostel and jolly swagman hostel.

Hey guys
Im heading out to sydney after hong kong in april on a working visa, so excited but a lil bit nervous going alone aha, have no plans yet but deffinetly doing the east cost...
I heard from a friend that the yha hostels are the best places to stay in terms of reliability and location and stuff and they do look pretty decent I think you can get a membership card or something to make it cheaper too

Hi Jack,
Recommendations for work if you haven't yet seen it: try any of the job sites in the or the recruitment sites recommended by : .
You can also try Gumtree but the quality of jobs there tend to be quite poor. One of my partner's first hospo 'job trials' was in fact picking up rubbish on the street. Same late night hours but just in the vague vicinity of a bar.
Good luck!
