My wife and I plan on spending a month in Ethiopia in Oct-Nov 2014. Have any of you travel wizards got recommendations for itinerary, accommodation & sights. We travel backpacker style with minimum accommodation requirement being clean sheets. Our bones are aging so trekking involving sleeping on the ground or thin mats is no longer viable. We'll probably fly between many places as air fares seem very cheap if international flights are with Ethiopian Airways. Most likely regions we'll visit are AA, Bahar Dar, Omo valley, Gondar, Lalibela & Harar.
