I'm going to Melbourne in march, I will be making my way to sydney after. How long will you be there for?
I'm going for a yera and will be making my way up the east coast to Cains.

I am arriving into Sydney just over a week after you, pretty much made no plans for it yet - just started looking at hostels and the like the now.
Was thinking of a hostel for a few weeks, then maybe try one of the longer stay places - cause I hope to find some work there!
Leaving Glasgow on the 26th of Feb, and flying out that night from London for a few weeks in Thailand before heading out.
Hi Angela. Not really too sure on how long I'll spend in Sydney. I'm hoping a few weeks at least but going to have to see how my money lasts me (which probably won't be awfully long in Sydney!). How long was you planning on spending in Melbourne then?
Hi Graeme. Yes I've pretty much got the same plan as you. See if theres any work going so I can hopefully stay there a bit longer. Well according to STA Travel the hostel I'm in for the first couple of nights is one of the most popular ones, although that could be a load of rubbish lol Never know with travel agents. Have you booked your flights to Australia then or are you seeing how Thailand goes?
Hey, it all depends if I get job straight away in Melbourne. I know Melbourne is pretty much the same price as Sydney. Am worried about money, hoping to get a job soon as.

Yeah Robyn, booked the flights on from Thailand to Syndey - thought I'd do it all before I went.
a. to save money, and
b. So I don't waste all my money before I get out! haha.
I've had a look at the hostels, will probably book one for a week or that before I go.
