I'm planning on traveling to Oz this March 2012 on my own. Anyone else in the same position and looking for travel buddies?

Hi there I am landing in Melbourne in March. Travelling solo planning on finding work in Melbourne n then travelling my way up the east coast.
How long are you planning on going for, I'm so excited now first time travelling. Looking for travel buddies aswell

Going for as long as possible to be honest, want to see everything i can.
Ill be in Melbourne first and staying in a hostel I'd say. Sounds like there are lots of people travelling on their own, more than I thought would.
Where you flying out from and have you booked everything?
Hey, ill be traveling for a few weeks in march but have no plans yet! And its only for a few weeks so not so easy to meet up maybe but if were in any of the same places at the same time it wud b good to have someone to travel with what are ur plans after melbourne?
Hi I've got my visa, flight n insurance. Just looking at hostels at the moe. I live in England so flying out from heathrow on 12 march.
There do seems to be loads of people travelling solo, which is always a good thing
