We are two girls from Germany (19&20 years old) and just arrived in Melbourne almost a week ago.
We are planning on travelling up the East Coast in Feb. but we dont have a car. That is why we are looking for someone to share the gas and who owns or rent a car.
We also want to get to know a lot of backpackers and hear their plans or just meet up and have fun times

I am looking for someone to go up the coast, you many have commented on one of my posts already... not sure. But I am eager to find people to help rent a campervan (with 4 people, it costs about $20 a day, opposed to just $30 for a hostel). I can drive, but I would like other people to join who can as well. What stops did you want to make? I don't want to rush. Also, we can chat over a beer or coffee or something?
