I am planning a trip in September starting in Prague and cycling to Vienna. Once in Vienna I am planning on renting a car and traveling to Salzburg and ending the trip in Munich. I have a week to travel from Vienna to Munich and tring to come up with an itinerary. The only thing I have planned is to do the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg, I am a Sound of Music geek! I was also planning on attending octoberfest in Munich and will be flying back to the states the day after octoberfest begins. Does anyone have any suggestion on must see things to visit while traveling? I will appreciate any suggestion and I will also be celebrating my 50th birthday in Vienna. Thank you for time!
