Im doing a similar trip but for a year, saving like crazy also, Sucks! I have been to Thailand recently and would highly recommend it is amazing! - if you need any advice on routes/ places to stay I can help!
I met a lot of people there who were travelling to vietnam, cambodia and laos along the way - Laos seems to be the most raved about! I'm thinking of either flying into vietnam, the cambodia, laos, bali and on to oz for the year or singapore then oz im unsure

I have never travelled alone before but travelled with friends before, kinda daunting arriving somewhere new not knowing anyone, any suggestions on what to do places to stay etc would be really appreciated

Ill be in Aus January onwards looking to travel from melbourne up the coast to end up in cairns, after visiting all the places on the way. If any are doing the same sorta idea would be cool to meet up!
Hi, I'm Faith, 21 years old I'm leaving for south east Asia as soon as I graduate...I'll be doing some volunteer work on an island in Thailand for a couple of months, and then (from May on) I want to travel around, staying in hostels and budget places... I will start in Bangkok and then I'm planning to go around Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and who knows what else...It will be my first time travelling solo, so I am a bit scared and I'm hoping to meet other friendly people to travel with if you are interested in this itinerary we can keep in touch
