I am off to Oz in June 2015. Going to start off with a tour for 2 weeks, I think up the East Coast. Where in Oz do you want to start if you go there first?

If I was to start off in OZ it would definitely be the east cost. Would you be staying in OZ for more then 2 weeks? I would probably work and travel in OZ mainly due to the high cost of living. Is that something you would be looking at doing as well?

Yeah i have a WHV for a year so I plan on just relaxing and seeing some sights for the first few weeks up the East Coast and then probably head back down to find work in or near Sydney somewhere after that and set up camp basically.

You got your visa yet and when you going to book flights?

No not got anything booked yet, I've had a chat with the visa people n they have said that it will take 1 month to process. I guess flights can be booked anytime. Have you got anything done yet?
I have my visa through the Aus Government immigration website. It only took a day to process but it all depends on the time of year.
I am booking flights in the next month i reckon - there are some really good prices through STA travel with Emirates which are bookable until the end of March

Wow, yeah, a month seems extraordrinarily long. People talk of hours until approval. Unless of course you're not applying for a WHV ? Or maybe very special circumstances? I would double check that to make sure.
Ok cool I will look into it, I have used STA travel before so will book with them anyway. You will have to let me know some dates when u have it sorted see if we can get linked up.
