Hi , I have plans travelling to Perth this Dec.. I have neither been to Australia nor on a solo trip .. would like to know if there is any interested to join..Preferably female.. I would like to hear if it is safe to travel solo around Perth ...
Re safety, although I've heard Perth is perhaps not as safe as some cities in Australia, IMO it must be fine to travel solo during the daytime! Just, as with anywhere, be aware of people who try to prey on travelers. Perhaps also research what different suburbs are like, especially if you are catching trains. Re getting around alone at night, there will always be different opinions on that....
And best not to hitch hike!
