Travelling South East Asia Alone

Hi, I'm going to be travelling South East Asia from November onwards (through Veitnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia) for around 3 months, I'm only 18 and was just wondering if anyone knew if I will meet many others my age or whether they will be older, or if there is anyone my age also doing a similar thing?

You'll have no problems meeting gap-year travelers of the same age and older, particularly where you are going (I looked at your Travellerspoint.com map).

Cheers thanks very much for your reply

George, you'll meet all sorts of people on your trip. The best ones to travel with are those who will "watch your back." In other words, those who will watch out for you and help you; those you can rely on, who won't let you down. It's caring and sharing. It works both ways.

You'll want to avoid self-centered or self-absorbed people who only think of themselves.
