But all my friends see is a world map with no itinerary. Even if they click on 'map' or 'mme' there is nothing to see. What can I do?
I can see it so my guess is that your friends need to be members of TP .. ask one to join & see if that person can then see your map.
Great trip by the way .. Hope you enjoy Myanmar. I seem to be spending half my life there lately.

There is no need to be a member to see a map. The problem is probably with the space in your name. If you send this link to people: , most email clients will stop interpreting the link at the space, giving them this link instead: . We also have a user with username Mme, who has never created a map, and so that link show the empty map of user Mme.
To fix it, give your friends a link with the space in your username encoded, namely:

You can also just link to the trip directly with this link:

That will avoid the space issue entirely
