Hiya!
English giiiirrl here! I'm in Melbourne but planning on doing my farm work sometime (probably a bit later than you though, maybe April?) I'm having a really hard time actually finding out about any farms! Want it to be safe you know? I'm worried about all these hell stories! I did hear you can do pearling/sorting pearls which sounds kinda fun?
Not planning to stay in Melbourne because the weather is too much like the UK! Let me know if you track down any farms that actually sound alright!

Awesome! Yeah, I'm gonna be staying in Sydney until around March or April now. Gotta see Sydney summer.
As for the stories from hell, I've also heard of some great spots up north and around Adelaide that kinda balances the terrible to great ratio out, but I'd have to speak to the people who have been there for names etc.
I heard about pearling too. Might be an option for sure.
