What is the best way to travel through Budapest, Vienna, and

Should I rent a car or travel by train? Open to other suggestions!
I will be going in November

I'm going to that area also, but in October. Any suggestions?

Passing through -not staying overnight?

Google search gives you some information to think about. There are many suggestions that show up. One link says 12 trains a day!

Driving?

(BTW. You are on the ===Asia=== forum.)

If you have an itinerary; and know your dates; it might be cheaper to go by train, especially from Austrian Railway's Sparschiene advance-purchase discount fare program. Check OBB's Web site: http://www.oebb.at/en/angebote-ermaessigungen/sparschiene

I travel to Austria frequently; and I buy my rail tickets in advance on the OBB Web site, using my US credit card. For rail travel in Austria, you simply print out the ticket at home, then present it to the conductor. If you want to reserve a seat, you can do so online, paying 3 euros for each seat reservation.

For international rail trips, you print the confirmation, then go to any rail station in Austria to get your ticket, either from a kiosk or from a ticket agent. It's simple. I traveled last year by rail from Vienna to Budapest.

thank u friends for your suggestion.
