Hello I have booked flights with Air Asia from KL to Laos back in August and have not received confirmation but the payment has been taken, what is the best way for me to contact Air Asia or find out my flight information because without a booking reference I am not able to.
I would contact my credit card bank and challenge that payment now. I think you will have more problems if you try to handle it with the airline. I would think that chances are very good that your email provider blocked the incoming message from the airline - happens all the time.
If you're an AirAsia member and booked your ticket while you were logged in, you can by signing in to your account. If you didn't register an account to book your ticket, just phone the nearest .

Air Asia 'Are' without any doubt the Ryanair of long-haul, but you can sort any problems out in a very short time.
Check your email address for your booking reference.
