Does anyone from the UK know if student loan repayments are still required while travelling/working on a WHV? I know if you go to Oz specifically to work and earn the equivalent of £15k+ you still have to make regular payments while you're away. But when you're on a WHV and have no idea when you'll be working and how much you'll be paid I can't imagine the same rules would apply? I can't imagine i'll be earning £15k doing bar work, waitressing etc anyway!
I'm just going to do nothing about it! I always thought if you were out of the county for 3 years then you didnt have to pay it anyway.

You have to earn £15,000 per annum in the UK before you start paying back your student loan.
The student loans company only have access to your income in the UK (through PAYE payments, tax and NI contributions etc)
The SLC can hardly cope with the UK system, I think they'd collapse altogether if they had to keep track of former students all over the world!
