On the thai visa form im struggling a little bit, the helplines closed today and need to get it sent off asap.
On your passport, there should be an "issued" city. Mine says "Los Angeles".
Proposed address would be a friends, or the intended hotel. If coming to Bangkok, you might simply put something like "Center Point Silom, Bangrak". This is an upper mid-range hotel, riverside. If you "change your mind", so be it!
Country beyond could be "United Kingdom",... by "Plane". Between now and when you leave, your plans "could change", but you eventually intend on returning home.
Once you get the visa, the airlines will, in most cases, be the only ones who read the stuff.
no not on the uk one, its just got either british citizen,..... place of birth(manchester)........ and authority (IPS) as possible answers. anyone with a uk passport done this and what did u put???
cheers curt
If all else fails, you can always ask the what they want. I'm sure they are familiar with British passports.
Curt, a British Passport (as I have) is always issued in 'GBR' so this is what you enter on the 'issued at' line on the form.
spoke to the thai authority, and its the 'authority' bit which in may case was 'IPS' incase anyone has the same question.
