hey lucy im flying out to cairns on 20th of august and then making my way down coast. im not booking up with any company or northing but i am going to book my hostel up in cairns and i think they offer pick up from airport. have you booked anything up yet?

Hey Lucy, I'm Helen and i think i have similar plans to you. Im going to Thailand for the month of July to 5th August and was then thinking of going on to Australia for 6months or so. I'm also looking for someone to travel with as it would be a bit daunting to go on my own! Have you anything booked yet?
Iv also been looking at Oz intro and it lookis really good. Bit pricey but it would be a good way to meet people!

I’ve still not booked anything as of yet, I’m scared I will book it and then not save enough money so I’m going to make sure I have the money and then book the flight as soon as I can. I was thinking about booking with aroundtheworldexperts for a 3 day introduction when I can there so I can find me feet and meet some people. Its loads cheaper than Oz Into, and I think Oz Intro only go to Sydney.
Where are you thinking of flying to is Oz Helen??

Hey I have similar plans but staring in Sydney, and yes i too am as clueless!!!!! i've booked a started pack with STA, first 4 days, they meet you at the airport, and over the 4 days go on socials and the set you oz bank acc, tax no etc....... if your gonna work, it was a big relief for me.

I've seen some people talking about thailand in July etc, I've had advice from someone who lived in Thailand for a year and have been told to stay away from there during the rainy season between June and October!
