Hi guys!
Has anyone travelled from Java to Bali before? On travelfish there is a blog about travelling this in 7-13 days, just wondering if anyone has done this before and what they would recommend?

Hi!
I live in Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia, which is a part of Java island.
Bali island is just next to us to the eastern part.
Did you mean to travel by road from Java to Bali ? It would surely take longer time especially if you're stopping on several cities which are our tourism highlights as well. Such as Bandung, Semarang, Jogjakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Malang, etc.
How do you plan your trip? You can fly directly from Jakarta to Denpasar (Bali's capital city) if you want. Or you can try longer train as well bus from Jakarta but I won't suggest you in terms of comfortability and safety .
Anyway, let me know should you need any helps. Enjoy Indonesia!
I spent 15 days travelling from Jakarta to Bali (Ubud), visiting Pangandaran, Yogyakarta, Seloliman Nature reserve, Mt Bromo, Lovina, Tirta Gangga and Ubud. 7 days would be really pushing it - I think you need at least 14 to do it comfortably.
Hi
Sesa11- no plans was just wondering what the best route would be and if it was worth travelling from through Java to Bali, otherwise we will just fly directly to Bali.
Hi Bex- yeah 7-13 days was just a rough timeline we were given. Would you say it was worth the trip? How did you travel, by train or bus?
Thanks
Yes it's defnitely worth it as it's a beautiful country and there's loads to see. We travelled using a mixture of train and bus; I'd recommend paying the extra for first class on the trains as standard class is not air- conditioned and is therefore extremely hot.
Hi Bex,
Many thanks for that, we will make that part of our trip thanks again for your help
hmm try using train if you wanna go to bali from java you will like that
