I am overwhelmed with the choices in Bali of where to stay. My budget is pretty decent anywhere from a hostel to a resort, $90US max a night though. I was hoping to stay in Ubud for 3 nights, and Kuta/Leigan/Seminyak for 2 nights. My only request is that there is laundry or at least a service, and if not near a beach (Ubud) a decent pool. I was looking at Adi Dharma in Leigan?!! and Balam Bali outside of Ubud ... It looks cool, but about 25 mins. by taxi to Ubud? Does anyone have any other recommendations. Thank you!!

We originally booked 4 nights at Nick's Pension but loved it so much we stayed another 5 nights.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included. Laundry service is available.There is a lovely pool onsite. We hired a car and driver (Alit) through Nick's and felt very safe with him. We had air con and a fan and tv in our large room. We felt the $70/night was money well spent and would definitely reccomend Nick's Pension to everyone.

Hey thanks... did you find that Nick's was clean too? Some of the pictures on the net make it look really scummy.
