Hey guys,
Well, London is one of those places which it dosn't really matter when You visit is. The temperature in winter in England rarely drops below 0 celcius degree. Of course it's nicer to walk around the city in the summer but I don't see any problems with visiting London in Jan or Feb.
Hope that helps to answer your question.
Thanks, i thought that there may have been some restrictions due to weather but thats good to know.
Hi
If you are in London around the Christmas time you should surely visit the Winter Wonderland and some of the Christmas markets held on the bank of Thames. No matter how beautiful is the city in winter with all those lights the temperatures are real challenge as its quite freezing there. About the accommodation I should say that you should be prepare to spend a little bit more except you manage to find some holiday apartment London on budget price. After all the winter is off season as most of the tourists prefer spring and summer visits
I have been to London in the winter a couple times and each time the weather was different. the first time was back in 1996 when they had record cold for them. For me it wasn't that bad because where I come from we had winters down in the -15 bellow zero a lot. As long as you dress for the day you will be fine. Also most of the major attractions are right on the tube routes so you don't have to travel in the cold all the time. The only thing I didn't like about London in the winter was many of the shops and place to eat were cold. For some reason many of these place leave there doors open thinking if the doors are closed it makes the people think they are not wanted.
What you have to take into account is the fact that it gets dark quite early and so the days are relatively short.
I personally think the best time to visit London is Spring or Summer, but Winter also has its charms.
Ok so pretty much nothing changes except the amount of sunshine. but i guess thats alright cause the night life seems just as good as day.
