I just deleted four wiki pages created by spammer . The pages now say "This article has been removed from general view. The content below is here to ensure we have a record, however it cannot be updated any further while it is deleted. This page is not linked to from anywhere in the guide." However, all four pages are linked to both from my profile and from the profile of the spammer, still contain the link the spammer created (admittedly nofollow-ed, but still), and are publicly accessible. I can reinstate the page and edit the contents of the page to remove the link, deleting it again after that, but the link then still shows in the history of the page, which is also publicly accessible.
