You can go to europe in this period of time. As it will be warm and sunny. And you also enjoy the rainfall of europe.
And weather will be reasonable as compared to the other countries.

I'm going around Europe in August with a tour company called topdeck... they cater for young people (think its 18-30 or something) and have tours for all kinds of interests. They are pretty cheap too and mostly include all food and accomodation. It'll be a great way to meet people. However, this is good for me as I'm travelling alone.... You are travelling with a friend. I had some friends travel around Europe on their own a couple of years ago and they had a great time but sometimes found it difficult to find things to do or decide on things to do so some days ended up doing nothing. Travelling alone without a tour group is a great idea if you know exactly what you want to do and plan some things in advance so you don't end up doing nothing!
