Photo in blog heading

For example at the top of the one blog, there's one with a man standing on rocks, other with the boy by the bus, etc. Is it possible to use any of the templates and add your own photos at the top of the blog?

Yes, this is possible. For example, for the "Adventurer" template (the one with the man standing on the rocks), you'd go to your blog management area, settings, template, and choose to edit the default template. Then in there, find the line which starts with #header and look for the bit which says background:url(./img/6/header.jpg)
Replace "./img/6/header.jpg" with the full URL of the image you want to use in your header.
Note that this particular image is being overlapped by the navigation menu a bit, and has been really designed to fit perfectly in that space. For your own image to look good, you'll probably have to photoshop it a bit, so that it fades out to match both the black and the white backgrounds. (The full size of the image is 897x334 pixels; as this is wider than the regular image sizes we show here on travellerspoint, you'll have to use the "download original" link to the photo from your photo management area if you want to use a photo you uploaded to travellerspoint.)
