I head to New Zealand on the 31st August with a WHV and I am just trying to pick the brains of anyone who is there now or has been there recently, in realtion to the work situation. I am currently in Australia where both the money and ease of getting jobs has been pretty good, but I have heard that New Zealand is not so easy. Is this the case?

Try trademe nz its a great site with loads of job opps. i arrive in auckland 20 july i believe it is not too difficult to get work i really hope so

Also try seek.co.nz there are loads of jobs in pretty much every industry. If all else fails there is always bar and waiting work,
Auckland would definitely be the best place to find the most opportunities seeing as a 1/4 of the country lives there.
If you are wanting to travel around the country and work fruit picking would be the way to go. But that doesn't get really busy till the weather warms up.
