I have decided on Krabi over Koh Sumai and Hua Hin, Where should I stay? I am not that interested in night life, I am looking more for scenery but would like to stay on Krabi and go visit the islands.

It has been too many years since I was in Krabi to recommend a place to stay. I did look at the 'accommodation' option, top of this page. 2 places are highly recommended and will not break your budget. Take a look at this , and this . I stayed at the Ban To guesthouse it was good value with a nice communual restuarant area, good onward booking , friendly owner and close to the centre of Krabi. Koh Lanta was fantastic and also Koh Lipe.

Hi, I stayed in 'Mild Bungalows'. I'm not sure if it's because we were there in the off season but it was pretty quiet except for some bars ten minutes walk away. The beach was about the same distance. It was a nice place to stay, nice food and friendly people, only budget but still very nice.
I could find it on google earth if need be.

I lived in Krabi , You can find out the chip price for hotel and guesthouse in Aonang so many .Ao nang ,It meant center for tourist and easy for go island .
Example Chandee guesthouse or Phu pa Ao nang resort etc,,,,,,.

I stayed in Aonang Buri Resort in Aonang. Opposite the hotel is the Nopparathara Beach. You can rent a bike to travel around Aonang from the resort. The staffs are friendly and helpful!
We stayed in Krabi for 7 week in Smile Guesthouse. The atmosphere was amazing and I double room cost us 150 Bht! 75 Bht per person! There was a free coffee and tea, shared bathroom with hot shower.
