Hi...to all....
January to March will be very cold most days with extremely high chances of snow and possibly blizzards. July through August will be a bit hot but otherwise, very nice. A little advice though, I'd move this thread to the North America forum!
July-August is so hot! Like 90s, and nowhere has great air conditioning unless you're in an office building. Mostly the heat is an issue because you're outside so much getting to and from the subway, then the subway stations are ridiculously hot, but once you get on the train they are usually well air-conditioned. So you get sweaty, then chilly, then sweaty again... Sometimes you'll have cooler days randomly in those months.
Jan-March are freezing, literally. You don't start to get warmer days until April but even then it'll still be randomly so so cold. It gets legitimately warm on a regular basis in mid-June. March is very rainy.
In both seasons avoid any subway cars that are empty, it likely means the a/c or heat is broken.
