Im planing on going 19/11/11 starting in Cairns and working down the east coast (including Gold coast) Im hoping to get a years working holiday visa so my plans arnt any more developed than that as I assume ill work it out when I get there!!
How long you planing on staying out there and where are you flying from?! Also what kind of work you thinking of doing?! I was thinking bars etc....Sorry for all the questions! I get a bit excited when talking travel plans

im not sure yet but some time this year , i no that i am deffo going just havnt sorted out arrangments yet. i wanted to do cairns m darwin aswell.
The kinda work would be bar work , childcare , don even mind fruit picking aslong as i means i can stay out there lol.
Id be flying form gatwick or heathrow , how about u ?

My plans sound similar to yours, I'm hoping to head off to the Gold Coast for September time with the view of working there for a few months whilst doing a bit of travelling up to Brisbane and around on my days off. My dates and plans are pretty flexible, and Im up for going anywhere, including NZ and Thailand and Malaysia at some point too.
Have either of you booked flights yet or have any more plans set?
