Hey all, I'm a single male, 29, traveling the East Coast of Oz between 2 Nov and 21 Nov. I'm flying into Sydney, then catching a domestic flight directly to Cairns and making my way downward thereafter. Is anyone else traveling along the coast between said dates? It would be great to meet some awesome people!

Im arriving in Darwin at the end of October then heading south. Will be doing the East Coast at some stage, but likely will only just be starting when you are finishing. I've had some absolutely fantastic recommendations for the trip.
Have you had many recommendations for Fraser Island / Hervey Bay? Due to my < 3 weeks available to see the east coast I'm trying to decide if I should spend a day there or an extra day in and around Sydney. The extra day would most likely be spent taking a tour of the Blue Mountains.
I went to the Blue Mountains when in Sydney in January, they were well worth a trip. Plenty of organised trips from Sydney, or I did the train to Katomba from Sydney. Cant remember the exact cost but I remember it seemed very cheap at the time.
In terms of the East Coast, a mate who is out there at the moment was absolutely raving about his Whitsundays cruise & Fraser Island in particular, as well as Townsville, Magnetic Island, Airlie Beach, & Byron Bay.
