Normally there used to be a link at the bottom, showing x members online.
Sometimes was handy but it is not showing anymore.
Bug or on purpose?

You can still see it. It's only linked from the front page now though. The direct link to the page showing the people online is here: http://www.travellerspoint.com/online.cfm . Doing some cleaning up of things around the site and that was moved out of the footer this week.

LOL, no that's ok. Always can go back to frontpage of add the link directly.

It's not obvious now, but it's under the "last 24 hour stats" at the bottom of the right hand column, rather than footer. Personally I prefer it in the footer.

Crying out. Please put it back in the footer. I found it extremely handy there, especially when spammers are lurking around. It was a quick way to check if they were still on site or had logged out. It also made it easy to see if someone I wanted to contact was around without having to go to the home page.
I do think Moderators will be the ones who will miss it's footer placement the most. That said, it was a nice feature being so accessible throughout the site. I've gotten PMs from members stating they 'noticed I was online' because they clicked on the link. Unless they read this thread, they're not going to know there's just a link on the home page and will consider the option gone completely.
