Guys,
There is no indication of your nationality. How you organise, however long in Europe, may be dependant on whether you have to abide by the '90 day rule' of those countries signed up to the Schengen agreement, which are at least ten so far on your wish list.
i would add Croatia and Swizerland to your list, and why not Iceland? all of these are beautiful countries with a lot of nature to be explored. and six months should be enough to visit all the places you've mentioned plus these ones.
you definitely should get informed about visas and of how much time you can stay in each country, considering there are smaller countries where the main interesting places can be visited in less than a week and others will take you much more time to get a real taste of the country (like Italy, France, Spain...)
in Greece you should definitely consider to explore some islands. and in Italy you shouldn't let Florence and the Cinqueterre off the plan. in Portugal and Spain you'll find the best beaches of Europe so you should spend some time exploring the coasts of these countries.
i think the cheapest way to travel between the countries will be using low cost airlines such as Easyjet, Ryanair or Wizzair. if you book far in advance you'll get really affordable prices. for smaller distances the train can be a better option.
if you want more info of some of those places maybe i can help you, i've been in all of them except for Russia and Denmark.
With the exception of London and Moscow all cities on your wish-list are in Schengen countries. You don't say which passport you hold, but even if you're from one of the countries whose citizens get 90 days in Schengen, you'll have to do some serious planning.
For example:
From 10th March to the beginning of June in Schengen, then three months outside - flight to London, London - Moscow, maybe flying to Croatia as suggested above, once these three months have passed you can enter Schengen again.
You can also alternate one month in Schengen, one month outside, but make sure you won't overstay the 90 days within 180 days.
If your nationality means you need to apply for a Schengen visa, you'll have to do some even more thourough planning.
I can will get on arrival visa to UK... so it wont be a problem. Schengen would be the issue since its ninety days. the question is will i be able to cover these countries with in 3 months, since we get a 90 day visa...except UK and Russia. thanks a lot of the insight guys
Besides Venice you only have capitals on your list. How's that? There are many more interesting cities in the Netherlands than Amsterdam, more historical places in Greece than Athens , more charming sites in Spain than Barcelona a.s.o.
You have written down for us an alphabetical list. Do you already have a route list? Why not start with this. For such a tour a combination of plane, train, bus, car, perhaps also ferry shall be best.
Another vote for Croatia! We traveled there last year with a group of friends and chartered a yacht and later on we booked a land tour of Croatia. It was a super experience seeing Hvar island and Vis Island.
Later we continued our trip to Slovenia and northern Italy but on our own. Other countries looked much easier to plan on our own than Croatia although it was quite straightforward once we go there.
I would also recommend few other places in Spain that we discovered on our own and our favorite was San Sebastian.
Have a great trip!
