Hello..... I´m new here and have got some problem......If you don´t mind please help meeee....
Pleaseeeeeeee somebodyyyy heeelppp
Usually there are no passport controls in Schengen, that's true. But each country can temporarily reintroduce them if they think it's necessary for some reason - international conference, terror alert etc.
You will have to show your passport before boarding the plane. If you flew from Germany to Austria without trouble, it looks like your fine did not show up in this airline's register.
But nobody knows if it will show up in the register when you check in to fly back from Athens.
If that's a risk worth taking it's up to you to decide. If it does show up, it will be very expensive, because of course interest has been added to the 1200 Euro in the meantime.
Thank you for your respond.....
when I was flying from Vienna I checked in online and went directly towards my gate.....they didn´t ask me to show a pass.........
and flying back from Athens with a same way Athens-Rome-Munich, I´ll check in online again and will go directly towards my gate.
I´m not exiting Schengen zone via Athens that means there will no pass controls right??? or if they ask to show my pass just for a case that my ticket really belongs to me, because as I know showing a pass at the gate is much different than showing it to the officer at passport controls.
Hope will get an answer
"I´m not exiting Schengen zone via Athens that means there will no pass controls right??? "
Usually not, but as I said one major conference or a terror threat and each country belonging to Schengen can temporarily reintroduce passport controls. Nobody can give you a definite answer.
