Hello! Recently returned home from an amazing adventure over the last 6months, Across the USA New York-La, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. My next motive is to return to Australia within the next month or so once work is secured. Already have my working visa, I'm thinking of doing seasonal work, fruit picking/farm in order to get the second year working visa equip. Securing work is essential and in need to work for a good few months to begin with! If anyone knows of any valid links, or contacts would be much appreciated!!??
Keep scanning the ads in There are often farm laboring jobs if you look in the right area at the right time of year.
Probably better is to sign up with and look through the homestays for people on a farm. Some offer work straight off, but more importantly, these people generally know people who know people. Somewhere along the line they will know someone who has a farm and is looking for someone. Its also a great way to travel cheaply in Australia and meet the real Australians.
If you are looking for something more permanent you might also want to consider getting your working visa in New Zealand. Its a lot easier to get residency in NZ than in Aus.
