I'll be at the FMP! Then I'm off to a dive trip till the 15th but I need ideas for after that. I was thinking Phi Phi till a friend dissuaded me. Tonsai at Krabi maybe? Got any ideas?

Enjoy the full moon party - i would try to make the booking for the flight as soon as possible, just in case Bangkok Air is busy, you can also get a bus and ferry - have fun
I'm doing the Similan Islands. I'm really excited for Richelieu Rock though. Thats where the whale sharks hang out apparently.
My buddy told me Phi Phi is way overbuilt. I think I may stop in to see for myself though. I think I'll be looking for a bit of a party by that time so Phi Phi sounds like it might be a good time. Have you been there before?
Yes parts of Phi are overbuilt but this would be the same as Phuket - in places it is and in places it is not - it really depends on what you are looking for and the time of year that you visit...
