Anyone spent any length of time here?
This airport consistently wins 'best airport worldwide' awards, so if you're going to be stuck anywhere, this is the place! Check out for the full lowdown on where to find the best seats there and reviews. Last time I was there I took in a movie, looked at the fishies, did some shopping, answered some emails and had a nice bite to eat. You can also rent rooms by the hour I'm pretty sure, and if I remember correctly my wife had a massage.
We didn't do this on the last trip, but I'm pretty sure you can take a sightseeing bus around the city as well if you have more than 4 hours at the airport.
All in all, definitely nothing to dread!
Cheers mate, I had actually found that site after I posted this (was using the Internet in work, and a lot is restricted....but heyho, they can sack me now if they wish!).
I'll just slum it then, be done plenty of times before - kipping on cold dirty floors in Heathrow being the lowest really!
Don't worry dude, i've slept in some airports and i'm happy to say Changi airport is comfortable.. =)

I agree. Changi is a very good airport. The sightseeing tour around the city is totally free and one more things, you can make free call to Singapore from any phone booth in the airport.
