My wife and I are going to spend next summer (2013) at a villa in the South East of France (Breil sur Roya). We are very active and are worried that we may get bored. Can we rent bicycles in town? Is it possible to navigate the Roya with a kayak and can we rent kayaks or canoes in town? Your reply much appreciated.
I've not been but it doesn't take much use of Google to discover that this is possible. Kayaking, canyoning, rafting, also hydrospeed (which is terrifying but highly recommended). Mountain and road biking possibilities also. Town looks lovely from the pictures, looks like a solid choice.
