If you could choose anywhere in the world...

aside from where you are originially from to call home... Where would it be and why?

I think many of us want to basically see it all, not just one place. Besides, things change with time. Years ago, when Mexico was cheap and unspoiled, that was the place for me, but now it's simply too close to home (and entirely too many be-headings for me!)

I was in Oz many years ago, and I must say it was paradise, but now it's getting rather expensive for my taste. If you're down under, you should hop the flight to New Zealand (aka Polynesia South).
I really go for the exotic these days - places where English is not spoken.

Florida, nice and warm, laid back...

I would choose New Zealand. Never been, but it is high on my list to visit.

I think I'd choose Australia, too. I haven't been there yet, but I've met a lot of fun people from there. Warm climate, great beaches, English-speaking, safe, familiar culture: what's not to like?

Of the places I've visited, I really felt I could live in Helsinki... in the summer. I don't think I could bear their winters, though. (Four hours of daylight?!)

I wouldn't mind living in Greece, except for the economy. Nice place to retire, perhaps.

I would love to go New Zealand . Never been there but if I got chance I would go there first .
