I have started a blog for a big trip I am taking in January. I am gathering friends and family's emails and was wondering if there is an easy way to
give them my blog information , without them having to sign up - or do they all have to sign up? And when I do a new entry for my blog , is it automatically sent to those I have added as my friends, or do they have to look in on their own.
You can just email them the link to your blog - http://suesworld.travellerspoint.com/ - and its password, and tell them to check by regularly, or if they want to be automatically emailed whenever you post a blog entry, to (or you could do that for them with their email addresses, though please inform them beforehand so they won't mark travellerspoint notices as spam).
They themselves don't need to register on travellerspoint. (By default people need to be registered at travellerspoint to be able to leave comments on blog entries, but you can change that in your blog settings with the " Anyone can comment" preference, after which they won't need an account here for anything.)
There's no email subscription service for photos you upload, but people who really care could set that up for themselves by finding the of all your photos, and putting that into a service which takes care of emailing.
