I am a 27 year old, female Irish girl travelling to Australia the start of February. I plan on flying into Sydney and waiting there for a week. From Sydney I plan on going to do my regional work straight away to qualify for my 2nd year visa and then move back to Sydney to look for work. Anyway I was wondering if there was anyone in the same position going around the same time or will there be anyone heading to Sydney to look for work around May when the regional work is done. I dont mind going alone but would be less daunting if I knew of anyone going in the same position. Anyway let me know. Thanks

I'm heading out at the start of feb doing an induction week with ultimate oz then planning on doing my regional work straight after then heading back to sydney for a while. Have you got any idea what sort of regional work you wanna do?

got exact same idea as you caroline! fly out to sydney end of jan and want to do regioal work asap really. theres quite a few people looking to all do the same thing around the same time!

Hello! Hope everyone had a fab Xmas! I'm a 24 year old girl from England doing exactly the same thing - I'm flying to Melbourne hopefully very last week of Jan/start of Feb and am also looking to do my regional work straight away, heading to Sydney to work straight after. One of my friends is in Australia at the moment and needs to do her farming to qualify for her visa extension and is finding it quite diffcult, most websites seem quite vague - has anyone had any luck? Also would be fab to have fellow travellers to meet up with.
