I am going to France on research conference at 20 -21 December . this will be my first visit to schengen area. I got visa for just 10 days. After conference I want to visit Italy. I just want to know that
Is there any issue, if I take entry from Paris and do exit from Rome?
If you have a 10 day visa for the (whole) Schengen area, then it does not matter where you go in that area. Only when you leave.
