I am looking at working in the UK next year but am already 31. I have had one company knock me back because I am over 30 and they tell me that I cannot apply for a Tier 5 Visa and I am not eligible for an ancestry visa either.
Does anyone know if I can get a different type of visa to work the UK ?
no! they used to have general tier 1 visa, but they closed that about 3 years ago (6 weeks before I qualified). if you have a kiwi passport you can go to Czech Republic on a 1 year visa - land a job with a UK firm and get sponsored? Czech republic is only european country with the age up to 35 years old - good luck
