First time traveler to Thailand July - September 2014

Hello everyone!

Tip: Don't go in the rainy season. It does not rain every day but when it does, it can flood down.

December to April, inclusive is the best time to go. You can be on the beach instead of freezing back home, and an extra few weeks costs very little.

Look on a map. Bangkok is a short distance from Siem Reap, Cambodia, where there is Angkor Wat. From Cambodia (Phnom Penh and other places are worth a visit), it is east to Vietnam or north to Laos.
