Hey so I'm arriving in melbourne on the 12th and I want to book my first few nights in a hostel now!
Can anyone reccomend a good place ?! :-)
X
Hi, I have a tight dates as I have plane to catch. See my plan and if you are interested, we can share the itinerary and cost of travel.
If I rent a car, you have to book your own accommodation then, not necessary at the same place , maybe somewhere nearby.
Or if you rent/own a car, I can hop into your car around these dates and share the cost, just pick me up at my backpacker then we can travel together.
My itinerary for GOR : so if any of these dates, you are planning..would be great to have travel friend
17th dec from Melbourne cbd to Apollo bay – overnight at apollobay backpacker
18th dec travel around until port Campbell - overnight at oceanhouse backpacker
19th dec travel around a bit in the morning and leave for Melbourne airport
hey, that does sounds good!
but unfortunately I'm not arriving until January 12th!
hope you can find someone and have fun! x
I go on the 19th and haven't booked a hostel yet. Been looking at reviews but a bit clueless lol
The Victoria Hotel (Little Collins Street) has a long-standing reputation for being a city hotel with a country hotel feel. Their nightly rates can be under $100 per night
Will it be your first time travelling?
Yeah I've done the same just looked at reviews but I can't decide aha

Ha! Good one.
Don't forget the Australian Open starts Jan 13th, so some properties (especially the hotels!) may be booked out. Hostel dorms at that time are more likely at the $30+ mark. Check out the for popular accommodation ideas.
Oh thanks I'll have a look!
Yeah I didn't realise the Australian open was on then until after I booked my flight, but oh well!
