What time of year, what's your budget and style of travel, what are your interests and likes/dislikes. Most importantly, have you bought a guide book...
Cheers,
Terry
Hi Terry! ill be traveling on october 2014, mid-budget i guess. But of course the cheapest that i can save im not a choosy person , i mean im always go for anything. Love doing and experiencing new things. I didnt buy a guide book, ;(
Im from Philippines and my friend is from philippines too, its just that we will meet there because ill be going first to nepal. Thats why. Now we are still looking for activites and a place for us. We would love to meet new friends and travelers too.
Thailand is one of the most popular/easiest backpacking destinations on the planet. Its infrastructure for budget travellers is excellent. Since it has been a major destination for decades servicing countless backpackers it's covered in great detail by lots of guide books.
It's super easy to do basic research so you can ask specific questions.
Have fun.
Cheers,
Terry
Terry, do you know where we can have accommodation? A cheap one and where we can buy cheap things for souvenirs
Hi avvylee,
Welcome to Travellerspoint!
Try the Accommodation link at the top of the page for reviews from other TP members. If costs are a priority for you, try using the slider to filter results by price or popularity.
Good luck with your trip planning.
Avvy,
Mabuhay, Top of this page is a 'accommodation' button. Click that, choose Thailand, then BKK. Slide the bar to the left for cheapest options. Write down several that you might choose to stay at. Most backpackers head for the area of BKK. Heaps of low cost accomm. plus restaurants, travel shops, shopping on or close to KSR. Plus you will meet plenty of others your age to chat with. Ask your fellow BPers for tips on rooms, food, sightseeing, transport, etc. There are plenty of used guide books for sale on KSR. Buy one for Tland that is few years old and start reading about what you might like to see/do while in Tland. Good luck with your planning.
Hi there kelliebarnes and vegasmike6 ! Thanks for giving me that info, its a big help since im new here
