I'm from Toronto, and I have been in Australia for about 6 months. I am planning on doing a solo trip Cairns - Melbourne at some point in August. Not exactly sure of the dates yet. I am currently settled in Brisbane just trying to save up some more money before I leave. If the timing works out I would love to meet up

Sarah, that's exactly what I was planning on doing once I get to Cairns! I want to travel down the coast and then settle in Melbourne or something and get a job. Let's keep in touch and hopefully the timing does work out
What hostel have you booked for Cairns? I cannot wait for Cairns it sounds like its gonna be amazing. Theres so many things to do there!

I am flying out to Melbourne in mid-October from England, if you end up settling there for a while it would be great to get some information off you and things. Best hostels, places to be etc
