Hi. I'm a single 40 year old male Travelling to Karon in phuket in october i arrive sunday 12th for 2 weeks, if anyones interested in meeting up female/males please contact me. I am planning on going on excursions, lazy days too on the beach, shopping and hitting the bars and clubs in Karon and patong.
If you fly home from Bangkok try to spend the last day or two in that city too. Bangkok is cheaper than Phuket and has many things to see and do. Plus Bangkok has some pretty good city transportation too.
(Don't stay on the beach so long in the sun that you get a serious sunburn and ruin your holiday! Very easy to overdo the sunshine.)
If you are more interested in nightlife than actual diving and swimming do some research on Pattaya. Pattaya is much cheaper than Phuket and easy to get to from Bangkok. (Pattaya has a crappy beach for swimming but okay for sunbathing, shopping, nightlife, etc.)
