Family vacation: Europe Tour

Hello everyone,

It looks good but maybe very quick for travellers aged 60+ ?

You will know how active they are and what they will be able to handle but I would think frequent travelling and short stops could become tiring. Check out rome2rio.com and seat61.com for info on planning your transport between cities.

Thank you for your reply !

In Europe, so many places we want to go but it is impossible, so I try to put the main cities of some countries, which is typical of Europe, so they can experience the true taste of Europe *I hope so, at least*
For some cities, they're very near to each other like Bruges and Brussels or Venice and Burano, so I think it would be okay for us.

But in Provence, I plan to stay in Sault, but none of us can drive and regarding to what I have searched, it is very difficult to go there by public transportation and get around by foot, so it seems to impossible to see the Lavender field in Provence ? My family want to see Lavender field so bad, because at that time, July, in Holland, the flower season is finish. So do you have any ideas about this?

I will check the transportation between those countries, and if you have any tips or any ideas about accommodation and pass? Should I buy City Pass ?

Thank you!

Hi,
I think lavanda season starts beginning of july around 300 meters and later until mid August at 1000 meters.
Did you check the website of Sault ?

To go there you should go to Avignon (TGV ), then by bus from Avignon TGV station to Carpentras, then Carpentras to Sault by bus

I also send you to the site of transportation in Vaucluse, but unfortunatly in French!
